Encrypted Control Seminar by Yeongjun Jang from SNU
On Monday, October 19, 2026, we hosted a seminar on encrypted control by Yeongjun Jang from Seoul National University.
Title: Bootstrapping-Free Ring-LWE Based Encrypted Dynamic Control
Speaker: Yeongjun Jang (Seoul National University)
Date & Time: October 19, 2026 (Monday), 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Venue: Room E9-309, Kogiso Laboratory, The University of Electro-Communications (UEC)
In this seminar, Yeongjun presented his latest research on the design of encrypted dynamic control systems that eliminate the need for bootstrapping by exploiting closed-loop stability to suppress the effects of noise accumulation caused by repeated homomorphic operations.
The 75-minute talk was followed by a lively Q&A session, leading to stimulating discussions on the integration of cryptography and control theory. We were also pleased to welcome participants from other universities, making the seminar a great opportunity for academic exchange.
Many thanks to Yeongjun for his excellent and insightful talk, and to everyone who joined us!
